The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) provides both operational and programmatic support to your organization. The CFO supervises the finance unit and is the chief financial spokesperson for the organization. The CFO reports directly to the President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and directly assists the Chief Operating Officer (COO) on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding. Below are services performed as a part-time CFO for your organization. Services are flexible and can be altered to fit your organization.
A. Prepare all monthly reconciliations, month-end closing activities including general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations and corporate/overhead cost allocation.
B. Preparation of month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial statements
C. Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools and control systems
D. Oversee Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
E. Complete Payroll Processing
F. Proper filing of tax returns
G. Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.
H. Develop and manage accounting staff, if applicable
I. Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, investment bankers and potential investors
J. Prepare various analyses and reports required by corporate development efforts
